engagement pictures

soo we had our engagement pictures done on weds the 6th ;)
 it was so fun, and our first time actually having a photo shoot together..
 we need more work on posing together and not being so awkward but it went great!!

i got my hair and makeup done by Kayla Garcia here in town.. at the headshops

Yes, yes, I think so...
Where in the world have I been?? Let's see... working full time, being a mommy of two wonderful baby girls, being a fiance', wedding planner, sister, daughter, best friend, home maker ANDD an engagement picture takkerrr... ;) I am not even sure where to begin... where to end.. who even cares these days.

and really, i wouldnt have it any other way!!




as much as i would love for my life to slow down... it isnt going to happen any time soon, soo i gotta roll with the punches..




- FULL TIME JOB.. after being home with berlyn for the first 6-7 months.. and let me say, it was grand... well, i did say it before.. 
work is actually going great... i love the people i work with, my boss is amazing, and i am very happy where i am.. 
i am so comfortable with the girls going to emmanuel.. i dont worry all day long about what is going on with berlyn in that baby room...
 alot is goin on, but shes lovin it! and she is a crawler now.. it is soo dang cute.. 


she is like the ultimate crawler, baby ninja status!


Kambria got to perform at halftime with the cheerleaders for a high school here... ahhhhhh i am smiling right now just thinking about it.. i was a cheerleader in highschool and i must admit, while she was out there dancing, my insides were going crazy and dancing right along with her.. 

get it girl... she sure got it.. she was shakin what her mama gave her..
those girls were the cuttestt things ever. i CANNOT wait for many more dance sessions to come!!


in the mean time, we have FOR SURE gotten our nail shop fix it.. and if this doesnt scream divaa licious, idk what does

we have also had some nice outings... block party!

we had a great time at the block party, as we were walking up, i asked josh; "is this going to be awkward".... well im glad i am answering that question with a big FAT NO.. no no suck your toe all the way to mexico.. wait or is it so, so?... no, so, yo, go..whateverrss!




Kambria got the coolest boots at target for for halloween costume... she wears them every chance she gets, with ANYTHING she puts on.. 

she rocks it... cowgirl up!

whos that cutie?? thats just berlyn... enjoying her new ride ;) mr duck..he goes "quack quack quack" if you pinch his nose.. or beak .. front thing thats orange ;) and she just gets a kick outta him quackin away!! :) i hated giving her the bath in her old infant pink bathtub because she would try to climb out, stand up... and this duck, the edges are a blow up deal (if you didnt notice) so i feel MUCH more better about giving her a bath in mr. duck!

dont mind her, she is just minding her own bizz... crawling around like it aint no big deal!

goodbye weekend

you came and went so fast.. yet we conquered so much this weekend and i am happy to say the house is clean, the laundry is done, the jeep is spick and span, the girls are in bed & the candles are goin..

yeaahhh...... this is my favorite.. we took a trip to the aquatic center this weekend and i must say i can be a kid... going down the water slide with kambria gives me almost as much joy as she has... she runs up those stairs so fast yelling "C'mon mom, hurry up!!" cause she cant wait to take another ride and after awhile, i cant wait either. we took lake(who is my step brother) along with us, had milkshakes at sonic afterwards, rented movies and came home and had our usual family night... we try to have family night once a week.. its one of kambrias favorites nights.. we order pizza, make beds on the living room floor, stay up late and watch movies all together :) i cant think of anything better to do.. sure i love to be around other people but being with them is when i am most happy..
then we headed to church today, went over to my moms house for tacos and swimming and came home and went to work! 8pm and i must say i am ready for monday to roll around and ready to conquer it as well..so bring it!!
I am starting my new job tomorrow and i am very excited about it..
i also filled out a volunteer form at the church to work in the nursery and do some photography ..yeahh i am not a professional but it is something i have grown to love so i thought i could get more practice that way too.. we shall see what happens..

Im not perfect..nor do i live a fancy life, drive an expensive car, have a wardrobe full of clothes and go on expensive vacations BUT perfection will never be done, a fancy life is mainly for show, cars are just a mean of transportation, clothes are just something to put on in the morning, and non-expensive vacations can be just as loving, family building, and glorious even from your living room floor...


i wouldnt trade my life for anything else.... 
i like it just the way it is; scratches and all :)

life

Life is happening right here, right now.... Life is also happening everywhere, right now.

sometimes i just sit down and think to myself "how the heck do they do it?" how do moms get ready when their 7 month old baby decides to give them 4 hours of sleep MAX at night, right before a full day of work... then gets up right when its time to shower and get ready...AND doesnt want her to shower OR get ready.. imagine that? :) haha... then get all supplies for girls' and yourself off and out the door in time?...AND have clean clothes, clean house...clean cars, whatever.... I DONT UNDERSTAND!! and i am determined to do it all and to accomplish it all... to go to bed at night with a clean house and fresh laundry sounds simply amazing to me... to go to work looking like i am prepared and ready for the day also sounds simply amazing to me.. to spend time with my girls and love on them as much as possible sounds simply amazing... to get more than 4 hours of sleep also sounds simply amazing to me.. but its all apart of LIFE and i am learning to roll with the punches and take what i can get.. ;) so here i am.'taking it all in' as i sit on my couch in our new house :) which is lovely and i cant really complain right now..

SOOOO much has been going on, i havent posted in a trillion years....and last i checked i wasnt grey yet, so dont get to thinkin that! :) i am not even sure where to begin...thats why i started out with life.. cause i am just living my life and of course having a very busy life!

Kambria is LOVING kindergarten now... we were at walmart the other day, getting supplies to paint with and she saw some erasers that she wanted to get her teacher because the ones her teacher had were broken... so of course i said okay, she got home, wrapped them up and put her name on it..'kambria' NOT Mrs.Witt and took it to school the next day.. she is so loving and always thinking of others! that A girl!!

My JOB search has come to an END... finally i found a job and i believe its going to be a perfect fit! i will be working for a place called PAC here in farmington, its a staffing agency and i will be doing admin work, which i am pumped for... although it breaks my heart leaving berlyn right now... BUT we need to feed our family and it isnt in our budget for me to be a stay at home mommy anymore.. :( i have enjoyed every moment of the last 6.5 months i had with berlyn (and kambria before kindergarten) at home and those memories will never fade away...

I have something to work for ... i will go to work everyday knowing i am helping make a better life for my girls and that gets me pumped.. 

so with that sad, berlyn started at the same academy kambria goes to.. Emmanuel Baptist...

we had a rough couple days with her but i think after meetings there and some more tweaks worked out we are on our path to.......happiness! :) Oh happy day!! I start my new job on monday and have been subbing this week at one of the highschool's here.... and thats all im gonna say about that..

me and me being a sub for HS students...dont mix... :)

every chance we have gotten off together we have made the most of it... kambria has been learning about indians in school and is so interested in them and loves learning about them, so we went out to the aztec ruins, which is bascially old pueblo buildings and lots of neat stuff to walk around and look at...

Kambria became a Jr Forest Ranger by doing some stuff around the park while we were there and completing a worksheet at the end plus watching a video... she has a badge and a certificate to prove it and is so proud of herself...i love seeing her excel in so much and i love seeing her have a strong interest in learning... we are wanting to go to mesa verde next, which is a bigger place ( like the one above ) with more stuff to look at.... i think were ready! PLUS kambria can do more forest ranger stuff there...which she loves.

she also loves to be the lunch prayer at school ( so darn cute )

 we also had a family project..

we thought we all..and by we all i mean kambria, berlyn, josh and i... and yes kambria and berlyn got to paint and color and do whatever they wanted... we made a family canvas that hangs in our living room and i cannot get enough of it..

 

no matter how anal i am sometimes about the house being clean, having things hung in the rights spot and trying to coordinate colors... this is an exception... and is now my favorite thing in our living room ( besides the couches, they are very useful after a long day..although sometimes my butt falls asleep ) anyways.. THERE IT IS!! <3

and i will leave it at that for tonight..
