Mothers Day Cont.

My Mothers Day/ Mothers Day Weekend was simply the BEST... I couldn't of asked for anything better. Josh had everything planned out & everything went amazing. Saturday morning Kambria & I went to our Mothers Day Tea Party(previous post) then we came home, changed & headed off to our picnic/park play day, after that we went & got ice cream, came home & showered, & watch a movie. Sunday: GIFTS! Of course those first....haha actually the cards were the BEST... cutest things ever!!We went to church, our church held a mothers day brunch that was SO yummy!! We then came home, got ready & my mom & mark came over for Mothers Day Dinner!!

Saturday Picnic.

This man. My Husband... LOVE of my life. That weekend wouldn't of been possible without this guy... he got everything ready, made all the plans, and treated me like a queen all weekend! <3 I am SO thankful he came into my life at the time he did... He has made me such a better person, more understanding, and just so grateful to be alive and enjoy life with him & the girls everyday! I love you, Joshua!

As soon as Berlyn saw the grass, she took her shoes off, started running and screaming around like it was pure gold! Well.. maybe not gold, im not even sure if she knows what that is.. but she was SO HAPPY to see the grass...& run around with sis sis without shoes on!

& here is my little brother.. He was with us for 2 weeks & got to enjoy the special weekend with me!

I got this cute little travel basket off of shoedazzle.com yeah crazy, huh? last year and it is so handy and lovely.. it is set for two, but we just bring extra goodies with us :) the other side is a place to keep your cold storage..

& of course, what's a picnic without sparkling grape juice?? thats the party, man! Kambria could drink a whole bottle within literally 5 minutes... :-)


This was such a wonderful picnic, we ate yummy food, and played on the grass and the swing sets they had there.. OH & climbed some trees!! Which I didn't get pictures of :( mann...


I love watching the girls play and run around... It is what I live for, seeing their smiles and faces light up. <3 Being a mom is the best thing that has happened to me and I am so glad I get to be a mom to not one, but two beautiful little girls! Of course there are many challenging days, and days I am exhausted... But we get through them and  push onto the next day :) I thank the Lord for giving me the strength to be a good mom to Kambria & Berlyn. If I don't succeed at anything else in life, I want to succeed at being the BEST MOM I can be.

Day before Mothers Day

Best Day Ever.... well, one of them :)
Today Kambria & I attended the Mothers Day Tea party at Sycamore Park Community Center, here in Farmington.. This is our 2nd year going, & it was for sure better than last year.. Today while we were there, we decided we were going to make a scrap book of it, & put the pictures and crafts in there that we made from the tea party, get it out every mothers day and just enjoy looking back at the memories.. :-) Kambria wanted to start on it RIGHT AWAY...however, husband had other plans for us :)
The Tea Party was fun, we didn't take Berlyn, just cause she is still too little...and It would be me chasing her around the whole time.. We thought next year would be good for her to start... Kambria said when she isn't going through the "terrible twos" although she is 2... her terrible twos aren't that bad actually..

We wanted some-what matching outfits, & of course big hats!!!

She was so excited to go, as we were taking these Berlyn was shouting "TEA PARTY" in the background, dancing around in her PJ's... (she was excited to go too) haha.. I told her next year and she said "Ok Mom" :)

The first thing we did were color tea party coloring pages... We came home with like 6 I think.. Every page I colored, Kambria wanted to color one too :) We each took our time, (since we knew it was going in the scrapbook) and wrote little notes to eachother, well... she just copied me and told the lady she wanted too... haha 

We then headed outside, & thank God it was a beautiful day!! The sun was shining, and the grass was green...& the tea was flowing like a weed..(ok that just rhymed).

She was super stoked about this game... Literally all the girls were yelling how it was the best day ever :) Cutest ever!!

We had a blast at the Tea Party, it is so nice to sit down  & spend one on one time with Kambria <3 She loves it & so do I. I can't wait for Berlyn to come with us next year & experience all the fun with us... Moments like this are the BEST part about being a mom.... Esp when Kambria tells me I am the best mom in the world & she wouldn't ever trade me!! haha :)

As I am sitting here typing this, josh is playing barbies with the girls.. he is the "grandma" and the girls are going to home-coming... So if I have jumbled sentences, and am all over the place... blame them.. because they are pretty distracting & I am cracking up over here.




I am OFF today!!! Woohoo....& I am so stoked. Since my job requires me to work on Saturdays sometimes, it's nice to have some off too... & just wake up, relax, have some coffee... & lounge... :) It's the best. & I am sure all you mommies can relate. Yes & it's 8:41... I am still in my PJ'S.... 

Can you guess who visited our house? The TOOTH FAIRY... 
 ...Yeah pretty scary that I lost a tooth, since I am 24... I am waiting to get into the dentist to see why.. So for now I am toothless.. & it's right in front... GEEZO..

This girl lost her tooth.

She was so excited. (As you can see) :) This is her 3rd lost tooth.. We are hoping to find it ;)
** She has been working on getting it out for about 2 weeks or so... & Wednesday night, it was about 7:30 or so, I had already showered and put PJ'S on... (long day) & she started wiggling it, & asked Josh if he could get it out.. Josh says " Oh yeah I can"... as I am sitting there I realize we don't have any "tooth fairy" things... So I start shaking my head and said "no no I don't think it will come out tonight, maybe tomorrow." giving josh the LOOK... of course, he isn't catching on..so I tell Kambria.. "Are you sure you want to get it out tonight? I don't think the tooth fairy works this late".. she says "What? Of course she does, MOM! She works 24-7"......sure enough, they had that sucker out in no time..
    Guess who got to run to the store & gather up some findings?... JOSHY..... haha :) 
I think he did pretty well. :)
    Tooth Fairy rocks at our house... $10, perfume, necklace, candy, balloons. 
Any holiday/event I love waking her up to balloons in her room..... :) & she loves it too!!

Another thing that's been going on?
      Baseball.
We signed Kambria up... drafts are March 10th.. then the practicing begins.. So we started throwing the ball around a bit... She is doing GREAT so far... & liking it.
let's just hope it isn't like soccer..
In soccer, she was a FIRECRACKER...then in games... She would literally STAND there.... haha and let the ball just roll by and have a look of nothing on her face... Wasn't for her at the time.

I am LOVING target's spring wear... Berlyn's whole outfit is from there.

& Kambria's whole outfit as well..


We are wishing for SPRING over here!!

We also took a trip to the nail shop :) Berlyn's first time.
Her & Kambria soaked their feet. Berlyn kept saying she wanted to get her nails painted, when it came down to it, she didn't want any of them painting her nails, she actually ran from them and hid in the corner.. haha sooooo I painted them :) 
    This trip was a wee bit crazy. One thing we will save for when it's just me & Kambria... otherwise the nail shop trip turns into an all day trip. with a crazy baby running around the place.
  Kambria was talking spanish to them too.

Happy Birthday, Kambria!

My first born, Kambria Adison turned 7 on feb 10th. I still am SO shocked it's unreal.... She is growing up too fast... right before my eyes. She is in such a rush to grow up, & "get big"... as I am sure all little girls her age are.. When she was turning 6, there was a joke Josh & I would play on her, we would tell her the Birthday Fairy wasn't going to let her turn 6, that she was going to stay 5 forever... SO this year, when she was going to be turning 7.. I told her... remember your still 5 though?...
                                           She didn't think that was very funny.. then went to tell me there was no Birthday Fairy.
Kambria is in first grade, and she is loving her teacher, and school. Which is a huge plus, and makes me feel happy inside :) She has a good group of little friends, and it's so cute to see them play together.


So on her actual birthday, my tradition for her is for her to wake up with a room full of balloons... She LOVES it... So of course, she got that... Then we took donuts for her class for breakfast, & made cookies for the afternoon..

Here she is in class :) then her teacher took her upfront and we all sang Happy Birthday to me... she was soooooooooooo shy it was cute!! :)

& that evening we had a family birthday dinner/cake for her & did family gifts... last year at her birthday party it was too crazy to do all the friend gifts, and all family gifts..
This year worked out great I might add.

She was having a Justin Bieber party, so I wrapped her gift in Justin colors :-)

my first attempt at making a 2 layer cake... so dont judge me. & the candles are kinda sideways...
she also wanted marshmallows in it, and around it.. :) so birthday girl got it.

kambria is loving these little "lalaloopsy" toys/dolls lately... & they are adorable....(*i like playing with them too*) I like to call them "lalapaloopsy" :) I didnt know I was saying it wrong, until her grammie told me... oh well.. ha! we thought it was pretty funny.

Friday night she scored on the lalapaloops's ........................&& she loved every minute of it.


It was literally like Christmas all over again for her... I can't even begin to post all the pictures.
....her big gift from us was............

A BIKE..... her other bike was getting too small, & the dogs chewed the seat off so I wouldnt say it was very comfy to ride...  PLUS this one has gears... & will be better for off-road biking.. which Josh loves to do with her.


It was a great Birthday Day for her... & we all enjoyed watching her.

We had pizza, cake, ice cream... Played dancing games, played outside, did gifts... & she invited all the girls for a sleep over after...
:) which.... was a blast for us all.
We had a tea party, did nails & hair, made a band, watched movies, etc. Poor hubby was out numbered... by ALOT... but he was such a champ through it all.


Happy 7th Birthday, Kambria... I love you more than words can say... <3 I am so very thankful for you, and that you are mine. I am proud to call you daughter, & proud that I am your mom. My job is to guide you through life, and be there through everything, teaching you the right from the wrong... & how to grow up to be the best young lady that you WILL BE.
